I had a great session this morning with the staff of PR by the Book. An Austin based PR agency specializing in Publicity/Media Relations Campaigns and Services for Authors, Publishers, Businesses & Products.

Owner, Marika Flatt is currently working on re-branding the business look with a modern, fresh feel so it was the perfect fit! The staff found a really eclectic business downtown called the East Side Showroom to do the portraits and my challenge was to do totally unique headshots of each person. I loved the challenge and I think the outcome is perfect for the new website & logo.

Thanks again Ladies (& Doug) for being wonderful models! I wish you guys the best in launching the new branding!

I wrote my fair share of those notes in grade school!  Well, it’s time for another one! Be sure and find my business page: Sarah Havard Photography!

I’m still new to the Austin area and I NEED MORE FACEBOOK FRIENDS!

Speaking of Friends. Here’s a pic from last weekend when I met up with my friend Jenny whom I hadn’t seen since we are TEN years old! That’s Army life for ya! She happened to be in Texas and we just HAD to see each other. It was like time stood still all these years, we hit it off all over again remembering funny memories, not so great memories of the transition from Army life to civilian schools, etc.

Jenny & Sarah~Best Friends FOREVER! ;)

3 Weeks New ~ CAMRYN

March 17, 2010

I love my baby club kiddos, but recently I’ve had a lot of boys. Now I have two new girls in the club and Miss Camryn is the first! She was so good and followed are little photography schedule by the book! Start awake and end asleep, perfect! She is so cute and better grow up fast so her big brother can teach her all he knows!!

Camryn loved being in my little nest basket, so much so that I just picked her up and put her just about anywhere without notice. Here are a few sneak peaks including some with their amazing new front door and artwork!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Once again, my beautiful models make me look GOOD! Bri did amazing out at her senior portrait session this week. We had a lot of fun and the day could not have been more perfect! This location is super popular so there was another photographer there working with a young baby. She kept telling him, “Show my your belly.” in my head I laughed b/c I’m usually the one saying that since I mainly photograph younger children. So, without another thought I told Bri “Show me your belly” in a that same high voice we all talk to kids with. I think the other photographer thought I was mocking her….but I got a great smile out of Bri!

I digress, Bri, enjoy your sneak peek, more to come soon!

For those of you who know me well, you know I’m completely addicted to ETSY.com. I LOVE finding talented artists and here’s one of my new favorites. Her name is Kristi Flanagan and her etsy site is: Punkin Seed Productions ~ http://www.etsy.com/shop/PunkinSeedProduction.

I ordered blocks for us with HAVARD and blocks for my friend in Mississippi who just had a beautiful baby girl with an equally beautiful name: EMORY.

I had fun thinking of the sayings, colors, etc. but Kristi did all of the work. When I received the blocks I remember just gasping at how stunning they were. They were so much more beautiful than I had imagined.

So, if you’re looking for a unique gift this year, check out my new Etsy friend Kristi and Punkin Seed Productions….you won’t be disappointed!

Here are some shots of the final product!

WOW, if you’re looking for unique, colorful, fun and very well-made clothing for your little girl, look no further. Annarella Girl clothing is the perfect combination of adorable and wearable. Ellie Skross, the talented owner and artist of Annarella Girl said she wants her clothes to be enjoyed and most of all played in.

Ellie and I are partnering up and had a fun publicity shoot yesterday in downtown Georgetown, Texas. The weather has been cold and rainy for a while so it cooperated for the most part, but it was a bit windy and chilly so the beautiful models did so well battling the elements in their summer dresses!

I’ll be working with Ellie soon to photograph her inventory, in the meantime check out her Etsy store,  her BLOG or email her at annarella@thegateway.net with the size clothing you’re looking for and she’ll contact you soon!

Here is a sneak peak of just a few of the images from our photoshoot! ENJOY!
