Sunflower Girls ~ Georgetown Child Photographer
June 26, 2009I’m a few sessions behind and have some fun personal images I want to share, but for now I HAVE to post some images from a recent session. I saw this small but dense field of sunflowers (or the weed version of them, really) and I knew immediately who I wanted to photograph there. My new Georgetown friends Hannah and Kendall. My first session with the girls was a family portrait back in the fall on what had to be one of the coldest most windy days in history. It was hard to really get to know their personality with it being so cold. Well, I know them now! Hannah is full of spunk and independent ideas. She reminds me a lot of me at her age and Mom’s going to have her hands full when she’s a teenager!!
Kendall takes a little while to warm up, but once she’s warm, get ready for the show, she’s a hoot! They are both just gorgeous, fun-loving girls and we had a great time, despite the itchy weeds. Thanks for helping me make my vision come true!
