I ordered blocks for us with HAVARD and blocks for my friend in Mississippi who just had a beautiful baby girl with an equally beautiful name: EMORY.

I had fun thinking of the sayings, colors, etc. but Kristi did all of the work. When I received the blocks I remember just gasping at how stunning they were. They were so much more beautiful than I had imagined.

WOW, if you’re looking for unique, colorful, fun and very well-made clothing for your little girl, look no further. Annarella Girl clothing is the perfect combination of adorable and wearable. Ellie Skross, the talented owner and artist of Annarella Girl said she wants her clothes to be enjoyed and most of all played in.

Ellie and I are partnering up and had a fun publicity shoot yesterday in downtown Georgetown, Texas. The weather has been cold and rainy for a while so it cooperated for the most part, but it was a bit windy and chilly so the beautiful models did so well battling the elements in their summer dresses!

With the winter being a slow time in general for photographers, it’s also a dangerous month. We’re “bored” so we tend to spend our time finding great deals on furniture, props, etc. I am no exception. I bought this really unique piece at an antique store in Rockdale and didn’t quite know what I was going to do with it, or where to put it. After months of sitting in the garage….she’s moving on up!!!!

I LOVE how this turned out. It’s the left side of my shooting room so kiddos will be curious to look inside the drawers and windows, but most of the products are up high so that’s a plus. Not to mention, it just looks like it was meant to be there!

The Prop room, which my husband Kenny calls the WEIRD JUNK room ~ whatever ~ is also finally starting to take shape. I was lucky enough to jump on this hutch for sale in my neighborhood and I LOVE IT! Again, worried where it would go since it is a large piece, it has a perfect home in the Prop room holding all of my fabric and blankets, etc. The old baskets are actually from my hometown of Mexia. They are from the old High School my Dad went to and that I went to as a Junior High. We actually used these baskets for PE to hold our clothes, shoes, etc. So glad I was able to get just a few of them for posterity!

Thank you for participating in the FCC New Years Event. I felt like I was in a comedy of errors with all the little things that went wrong that day, but I enjoyed meeting and photographing all your adorably dressed little blessings!

Had a great Baby Bliss club session for Lane’s 6 month portraits. We played with lots of outfits and he rocked them all! I wasn’t able to to a formal Valentines promo this year because I’ve got a nasal surgery scheduled for Tuesday so I wanted to keep the schedule light. If there’s enough interest next year, I’ll put something together!

As promised here is a slideshow of my 2009 year! I truly am grateful to have such wonderful clients and I look forward to working with you again in 2010!

Thank you for a wonderful 2009! I definitely have the best clients/friends in TEXAS! Here are some updates from the last few months.  I’m working on a slideshow of all my favorite images from 2009 so check back for that after the first of the year.

Zoot Pet Portraits, Georgetown: They were a big hit and once again I was miraculously able to get some “effortless” images of everyone’s furry babies!

Travis & Megan Hildebrand…AKA my husband’s partner at Georgetown Pediatric Dentistry and our best friends since collage! Had some fun at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock.

Matt & Tiffany Painter, more friends I photographed at Old Settlers Park that day, I’m telling you we had a great time. Matt prefers being on the other side of the camera, but they both did a great job! You can see their adorable Dachshund’s in the Zoot Collage.

Kyle, Melanie & Julia White….Julia is growing up so fast! Seems just like yesterday I was doing Melanie’s maternity portraits! Julia had a great time that day as well, especially when I pulled out the red rocking chair!

One of my absolute favorites from this session and the year, but then again how can you pick just one!

The Bruff Family of Cedar Park: Amazingly Sweet, Beautiful and Fun family! Can’t get much better than that! The golf course views and Fall colors were just stunning!
